Living in the fast lane often involves an extreme enthusiasm for car culture and a real desire to be in the drivers seat going for the adrenaline rush that only driving at 250 miles per hour can give. This is my life a life set behind the wheel and a desire to cross the finish line in my retirement from my 9 to 5 working life. So how did I get so interested in Cars and Car Culture? It all began at the age of 12 when I first tried driving ndash; on my Dads lap of course but the feeling of being in control of the car was amazing! Turn the wheel the car goes with it hit the gas and the car takes off! Fantastic I thought even if I had to wait another 4 years to actually get my drivers license.
By the age of 16 I had racked up about a thousand hours of driving experience ndash; I grew up in the country and would use the field car as my guinea pig for years before buying my very first car. Then the day finally arrived I got my very own car to go along with my brand new drivers license ndash; this was it as far as I was concerned life had opened the doors ndash; I could go anywhere I wanted at anytime.
My love of cars has turned into a passionate hobby not to mention a sometimes expensive hobby. If Ive learned anything from years of tinkering Ive learned that you can save a lot of money by doing some of the basics of car repair yourself ndash; changing the oil replacing spark plugs changing brake pads and air filters Paint less dent repairs and more. Granted I had some old bangers to work so you may not want to try doing your own car repairs on your brand new Mercedes if youre not sure what youre doing.
The secret to keeping my car culture hobby as affordable as possible is getting the right car parts from the right sources. Often when you bring your car into a mechanic for repairs or servicing the cost of the car parts is minor compared to the cost of the labor. Finding wholesale car parts and some information and instructions for installation will save you a ton of money and get you closer to your passion ndash; a passion for all things cars!
