A Look At The New Old Mustang-The Mustang With The Retro Body

Ford was smart to introduce its new Mustang and it was a good year for the 2005 Ford Mustang that made good sales in the sports car venue. The new Mustang GT which came with V8 power started its pricing at 24995 with a 300hp motor. Even though this was the only car with a stock 300hp motor in its class any import tuner can put down more power then any mustang.

Perhaps one of the best selling and most notorious models of the Mustang is the V6 model. The car is at almost 20 grand and comes with a V6 motor. Ford has always given what the consumer wants but also hasn’t given anything turbo charged yet that I have seen. Hopefully this new Mustang can give drivers what they are looking for in a car and if not they can resort to tuners which are and can be the best of the best. Here are some of the many details about the new Mustang that you won’t see anywhere else.

It has 16inch aluminum rims that are cast the rims are painted to give it flair and show some diversity. It gives you four disk power brakes with all season type of tire but you can change them and get better tires which is recommended . It has huge rotors and calipers to handle the speed that the car will be slowing down from at some points during ownership. Still you can get upgrades such as a BREMBO big brake kit.

Airconditioning goes stock with the car and it also comes stock with a rear window defroster as well. Dual power locks and windows come stock in the new mustang.

The new Mustang comes with a 210horse power motor that makes 4.0 liter SOHC V6 engine. Probably produces around 200 feet pounds of torque. Also comes stock with a 5 speed manual transmission also can be bought in automatic with electronic overdrive.

More features come stock like power windows power locks key less entry rear wheel drive so it can be used to drift if you want leather depending on package. There are many features to the new mustang.

Ford also provides the system in which if involved in an accident the air bags will automatically deploy to try and save your life. The buyer or owner can add anything they wish to the car to make it unique. It is advised that you customize the car and make it the way you want it.

Even though there is the Mustang there are many other cars that are beyond what the Mustang can give you. The Supra is a good one 240sx with a swapped motor is a good one there are a number of cars that you can buy to compensate with a mustang. Like the Nissan Skyline comes with a rb26dett stock and produces over 270 horse power stock and over 280 feet pounds of torque without any upgrades.

How To Do A Car Stereo Installation

You might not need to go to a car stereo installation school to learn how to install your CD player however you need to train yourself how to do the job. There are no two ways about it. Car stereo installation guides are all over. The best place to begin is the store you bought your stereo. Chances are they have a guide to help you on the steps. Some stores install for customers at a fee while others as an after sale service. Other stores give a general guideline with no specific details. Manuals are a great help but with all the technical jargon what you need is a simple guide that will provide you with guidelines step by step as you prepare to install a new car stereo. The first thing that you need therefore is information about installation.

While you choose the details that will guide you take time to read even before you start removing your old car stereo. The removal of your old system will determine how well your new system will be installed. It takes a methodical removal that will make sure everything is intact. In your guide you will realize that the tools of installation are the first requirement. These tools may be wire cutters screwdrivers set electrical tape wire strippers and many others. Of course you need to have the new stereo you are about to install. The next thing you do is read the steps one at a time and follow them as accurately as you possibly can. You might think that you are wasting time but hurrying through the process might disappoint you.

While beginning the process of car stereo installation make sure that your fitting is right. The slots must fit the new stereo and that will have been taken care of while purchasing. The first thing you do when removing your old system is to make sure you connect your ground cable from the battery. It is highly dangerous to work on it while it is connected. After you are done removing connect the wires manually if you do not have the wiring harness to install your stereo. Follow the next important steps while constantly referring to the manual to make sure the right wires are connected. When you are ready to install slide your car stereo into the mounting bracket. If necessary your old stereo mounting bracket might be needed. Slide your new car stereo in the slot in the dash and if your are thinking of screwing it do not.

This is because you need to test it first. Reconnect the negative cable. You are now ready to test the car stereo. Power it and put music on and see that the speakers are working properly. If all your speakers are in the right shape you know that your work has gone as planned. It is time to screw it in. When you put the dash cover back on your new car stereo installation process has been completed. You will be surprised how following instructions to the letter goes a long way to help people even if they do not have the slightest idea of how the system works. If your car stereo installation was not a success you do not have to stress yourself out. Go through every detail carefully and you will arrive on the problem and solve it. The process guarantees you great stereo entertainment for all your car rides.

How To Choose Used Truck Tires In Tampa FL

New tires are expensive especially for trucks. These days we all need to make wise decisions for every purchase. We cant just decide on the basis of what looks good with our vehicle. A lot of owners therefore choose to buy used truck tires instead in Tampa FL. Used truck tires are much more affordable and can last almost as long as new tires. So if you can buy them cheap why go for the more expensive tires?

If you choose to get used truck tires instead of new tires though you should know how to choose the best tires within your budget. Cheap tires can actually cost you more in the long run if you dont know what to look for. You should also be very careful in choosing used truck tires to ensure your safety on the road as well as the safety of others.

What to Check in Used Truck Tires

Check on the condition of the treads in used truck tires. Treads are the rubber tire parts that come into contact with the road. They have grooves called tread patterns. The used truck tires you choose should not have uneven wear on their treads. If you notice that the used truck tires tread is sunken at the center it means that it had been allowed to run while over inflated. If the used truck tires tread is worn on one of its edges it means that it had been used on a vehicle that was out of alignment. On the other hand if the used truck tires tread is worn on both edges it means that it had been allowed to run while under inflated. Minimal wear due to over or under inflation can be fixed by running the tires with proper inflation. If you see major wear though do not choose those tires.

Also check on the used truck tires sidewall or the rubber part on the outer sides of the tire. Small nicks are acceptable but deep cuts should be cause for rejection. Finally check the used truck tires bead or the part that fits onto the wheel rim. There should be no damage so that the tire is properly sealed on the wheel rim.

Choosing Retread Tires

Another option in buying cheap tires is to look for retread tires. These are used truck tires that have been remanufactured. The worn treads have been buffed away and totally replaced.

Retreading is only feasible for truck tires. It is not done for passenger tires because the cost would be even higher than that of new tires. For trucks though retread tires are not only much cheaper but could even be more efficient and have more traction over new tires. They could also last longer. Proof of the economy and safety of retread tires would be the fact that many trucking bussing and aviation companies use these in their largescale operations.

Aside from the financial savings you incur using retread tires would also be a good contribution to environmental sustainability. Recycling used tires saves a lot of natural resources and each tire can be retreaded for a maximum of ten times. The discarded worn rubber is recycled as well into rubber mulch used in landscaping playgrounds parks and athletic fields.

Retread tires or used tires need the same care as new tires. Make sure you do not over or under inflate them. Use proper air pressure and do not overload them either.

If youre interested in looking for used tires or retread tires there are many dealers in Tampa FL. Make sure you go to a reputable dealer so that you get not only cheap but dependable tires.
